Why apply? Plein Air Shorewood, now in its third year, is blowing the ROOF off limitations from the past and opening up the gala and gallery to all.  Shorewood has enjoyed:

-Great Sales (92% of our artists have sold work)

-Wonderful, informed audience is excited to greet you (The community has started already and it’s only April!)

-Local hosting of you as a celebrity (People want to open their homes to you, to provide you with the best Shorewood experience)

-Community breakfasts – our treat! No scrounging for coffee or amenities!

-Fun dinner with live music on Friday night at the outdoor Beer Garden!

-Grand Gallery on Saturday – a professional tent, lights, music and excellent audience for your work

-Lakefront, Beach, Riverfront, Parks, Urban landscapes and interesting local architecture make for engaging painting opportunities!

-Artist Awards of $7,350 – a TOP event in Wisconsin and the Midwest!

-New this Year: NO Commission on Sales. What?! It is a community event, a portion of proceeds supports the arts in Shorewood, but your fee covers everything and we will not charge any commission on what you paint — and sell — in Shorewood.
