Where to Buy Art at Plein Air Shorewood Sat., Sept. 17 2016

This year, Plein Air Shorewood is a ONE DAY event and 35 artists are coming to paint the Village! All Events will be held at the lakefront at Atwater Park. The artwork will be for sale at the Lakefront at Atwater Park from 4-7pm (and all day directly from the artists).

Artists are not restricted in size or price, and may paint as small or as large as they’d like. They also may sell paintings created at past Plein Air Shorewood events. There is no gallery setup – instead, artists will be selling art off their easels, like the original plein air painters of Montmartre in Paris.

Atwater Park from 4-7pm will resemble an artists marketplace – we invite you to have a glass of wine, enjoy the music, meet the artists and peruse the art for sale!

Free and Open to the Public Artists Meet and Greet Reception 5-8pm: Olson House, 4326 N Oakland Ave., Shorewood, WI 53211

Saturday, Sept. 17

7-10am Artists Check in at the Lakefront – Atwater Park, 4000 N. Lake Drive, Shorewood

8am-8pm Food, Wine, Beer for sale at Metro Market Tent, Music throughout the day at Atwater Park

9am-12noon Interactive Art Education – Hands On Artmaking with Artists Working in Education at Atwater Park

10am Re-Dedication and celebration of the 6th Anniversary of the Jaume Plensa Spillover II sculpture at Atwater Park

10-4 Artists paint at the lake and throughout the Village

Businesses Participating with Shopwalk, Chalk art in front of locations
